Leg Veins, Spider veins & Thread veins, or ‘telangiectasias’ as they are medically described can be identified by the distended red and blue blood vessels just below the skin’s surface. They are found around the inner knee area, outer thigh and can appear on the calves and ankles. We cannot work with blue veins or Varicose as they are known, these have to be removed by a medical practioner.

How are spider veins/ thread veins treated?
The Laser emits light which is readily absorbed by blood vessels, heating them to point where they are destroyed. Following treatment, the vessels quickly clear as they are reabsorbed by the body, leaving little or no trace of the original lesion. For laser treatment the light is pulsed over the entire area to be treated.
How many treatments are necessary?
Typically three to four treatments are needed for maximum results, though small lesions may clear in just a single session. For general redness and rosacea five or more treatments may be required. Repeat sessions are spaced every four to six weeks.
